Some grey imported vehicles with defective Takata airbags are categorised as ‘orphan’ vehicles. This means the vehicle is not associated with a particular supplier. This may be because the vehicle was imported into Australia by a business acting as an agent for a third party or individual, or the grey importer that originally imported the vehicle is no longer operational.

If your VIN is on the list, contact Ford Customer Assistance on 1800 503 673 with your VIN to order the replacement part at no cost and to arrange collection from your nearest Ford dealership. You are responsible for organising a repairer to complete the airbag replacement.

If your VIN is on the list, contact Holden Customer Care on 1800 632 826 with your VIN to order the replacement part at no cost and to arrange collection from your nearest Holden dealership. You are responsible for organising a repairer to complete the airbag replacement.
